Macy Anne Carman-Goeke, MPA, AIA is an accomplished architect currently working at VMDO Architects since April 2021, where roles include Architect and Designer. Previous experience includes positions at Bonstra l Haresign ARCHITECTS as a Staff Designer and Intern, and an architecture student at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Early career roles involved research and development work at Thriving Cities Group and the Southern Environmental Law Center, along with internships focused on sustainable development and environmental careers. Macy earned a Master of Architecture from Virginia Tech, a Master of Public Administration in Environmental Science and Policy from Columbia University's SIPA, and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Hollins University.

Our commitment to sustainability is evidenced by receipt in 2010 and 2017 of Top Ten AIA Committee on the Environment (COTE) awards – considered the industry’s premier accolade for sustainable design.
