Apryl Flanary

Apryl Flanary joined VMS in June 2021 as a National Clinical Manager. Apryl has more than 20 years of nursing experience including 12 years of specialization in clinical education. As a National Clinical Manager, Apryl is responsible for managing and leading teams of Clinical Nurse Educators across the country. With her extensive pharmaceutical and leadership experience, Apryl trains and develops educators to facilitate effective patient support programs. Apryl joined VMS because of the focus on educating and empowering patients, nurses and other healthcare professionals. Education is her passion and has been a focus for much of her career.

Prior to joining VMS, Apryl served as an area business manager with Heron Therapeutics and as an associate director of clinical nurse liaisons with Chiasma Pharmaceuticals. She also has experience working in oncology and rare diseases. Apryl graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a bachelor’s degree in nursing.
