Jakub Galka

Jakub Galka is an accomplished R&D Engineering Director at Vobile since April 2025, specializing in audio, image, and video content fingerprinting technology. With a rich background as a Co-Founder and R&D Manager at Techmo sp. z o.o. since January 2013, and an Expert in the Innovation Coach Program since June 2020, Jakub provides strategic guidance for R&D initiatives. Previously serving as R&D Engineering Director at Pex from February 2023 to April 2025 and as Research and Development Director at Edentify Live from October 2019 to December 2022, Jakub has extensive experience in AI, deep learning, and machine learning. Prior roles include positions as an Assistant Professor at AGH University of Science and Technology, a Technology & Innovation Consultant, and a Visiting Scholar at Stanford University. Jakub holds a PhD in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from AGH University of Krakow.
