Tejas Doshi

Tejas Doshi has a diverse work experience spanning over different companies and roles. Currently, they are employed as a Principal Software Engineer at Vocera Communications since May 2021. Prior to their current role, they worked at PatientSafe Solutions as a Senior Software Engineer from May 2016 to May 2021. During their tenure, they designed and developed a scalable and fault-tolerant care collaboration platform, implemented administrative management consoles, and designed and implemented various features using distributed systems. Before that, they worked at BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina as a Senior Software Engineer from July 2012 to May 2016, where they focused on web application development and implemented federal healthcare mandates.

Tejas also worked at Ionix Systems Inc as a Senior Software Engineer from September 2011 to November 2013, where they designed, developed, and maintained web applications and mentored offshore teams. Moreover, they worked as a Senior Software Development Engineer at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield from May 2011 to June 2012.

Prior to that, Tejas was employed at Fannie Mae as a Senior Consultant from February 2006 to June 2011. During this period, they redesigned a complex business processes platform, developed secure web applications and RESTful webservices, and performed load performance and fail-over analysis. Tejas also has experience as a Software Developer at CORYX Software GmbH from February 2005 to January 2006 and as a Research Assistant at TuTech Innovation GmbH from May 2004 to April 2005, where they focused on developing geospatial solutions and algorithms for a Geographical Information System utilized for Flood Management and Risk Analysis in the city of Hamburg.

Tejas Doshi has a diverse education background. Tejas obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Information and Media Technologies from Hamburg University of Technology from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Computer Applications and Information Technology from Gujarat University between 2001 and 2003. Their undergraduate studies were also at Gujarat University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Application and Information Technology from 1998 to 2001.

In addition to their formal education, Tejas Doshi has obtained multiple certifications. In 2015, they received the "MongoDB for Java Developers" certification from MongoDB, Inc. Tejas also earned several Coursera Verified Certificates for courses such as "Regression Models" in May 2015, "Statistical Inference" in February 2015, "Exploratory Data Analysis" in December 2014, "Reproducible Research" in December 2014, "Getting and Cleaning Data" in November 2014, "R Programming" in September 2014, and "The Data Scientist’s Toolbox" in August 2014. Additionally, they hold the "Sun certified Java Developer" certification from Sun Microsystems in March 2005.
