Victoria Papathanasiou

Victoria Papathanasiou has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Victoria is currently employed at VoCoVo as the Head of Product, a role they started in February 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Improbable as a Snr Product Manager, where they played a key role in transforming the national security of nations by utilizing Agile and Design Thinking methodologies. Their responsibilities included defining new as-a-Service product lines, establishing product roadmaps, leading product positioning and messaging, and producing product collaterals. Victoria joined Improbable in August 2022 and left in January 2023.

Before their time at Improbable, Victoria worked at CityFibre as a Senior Product Manager from January 2021 to June 2022 and as a Product Manager from May 2018 to January 2021. Their main responsibilities at CityFibre included managing product performance, running the C2M process, and reporting on sales.

Victoria also gained experience as the European Product Manager at D-Link Europe for a brief period from January 2018 to May 2018.

Early in their career, they spent several years at Sky, where they held various roles. From October 2013 to December 2017, they worked as a Senior Access Network CPE Development Engineer, leading technical projects and being part of the responsible network team for new product launches. Victoria also served as an Access Network Development CPE Engineer from July 2011 to October 2013, where they developed and tested broadband products and worked closely with CPE vendors.

In their early career, Victoria worked at Siemens Enterprise Communications as a 3rd level Support Engineer from March 2009 to June 2011 and as a System Tester from July 2008 to March 2009. Their responsibilities included testing call models and ensuring correct implementation and functionality of the system's components.

Victoria Papathanasiou holds a Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon, which they obtained from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the same institution, completing their studies from 2001 to 2006.

In addition to their formal education, Victoria Papathanasiou has obtained several certifications to further enhance their skills and knowledge. These certifications include the "Software Product Management Specialization" from the University of Alberta, earned in July 2020, the "SQL" certification from Stanford Online, obtained in March 2020, the "Marketing1x: Introduction to Marketing (edX)" certification from The University of British Columbia, received in November 2016, and the "Product Focus Certified Product Manager" certification from Product Focus, achieved in August 2016.
