Dan Lloyd is the current Chief Strategy Officer and Corporate Affairs Director at Vodafone Australia. Prior to this, they spent two years as the Group Executive - Wholesale at TPG Telecom Ltd. Dan has over 20 years of experience in telecommunications and has been instrumental in the growth and transformation of both TPG and Vodafone.
Dan started their career in telecommunications in 2000 and quickly rose through the ranks. In 2008, they became the Head of Wholesale for TPG and was responsible for the growth and management of the wholesale business. Under their leadership, TPG became one of the largest wholesale providers in Australia.
In 2020, TPG and Vodafone merged and Dan was tasked with leading the strategy, integration, and management of the combined wholesale and intercarrier businesses. Dan was also responsible for the spectrum strategy and acquisition team. Within 12 months of the merger, Dan successfully integrated the two businesses and returned them to substantial annual growth.
Dan has forged key partnerships with both domestic and international carriers and wholesalers. Dan is a thought leader in digital transformation and has been instrumental in the transformation of both TPG and Vodafone.
Dan Lloyd completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Sydney, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Dan'story, English, Media Studies, and Semiotics. Dan then went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Law from the same school.
Dan Lloyd reports to Iñaki Berroeta, Chief Executive Officer. Dan Lloyd works with Rob James - Chief Information Officer and Director of Business Enablement, Dan Lloyd - Chief Strategy Officer and Corporate Affairs Director, and Barry Kezik - Chief Network Officer (interim).
