Michiel van Rijthoven

Michiel van Rijthoven has extensive work experience in the field of advanced analytics and business intelligence. Michiel started their career at Port infolink in 2005, where they worked on platform development until 2006. Michiel then joined Rabobank in 2006 as a CRMi bouw specialist. In 2008, Michiel moved to Oracle Nederland BV as a consultant until 2008. Michiel then joined Vodafone as a business intelligence specialist and later became a business intelligence consultant. In 2011, they were promoted to the role of Business Intelligence Team Manager CBU/EBU, where they managed a team of BI specialists and consultants. In 2016, Michiel joined VodafoneZiggo as a Manager of Advanced Analytics, responsible for creating a competitive edge through data science and analytics. In 2017, they took on the role of Lead Data Scientist.

Michiel van Rijthoven earned an MSc degree in Informatica en Economie from Erasmus University Rotterdam from 1999 to 2004. Prior to that, they completed Gymnasium/VWO at Johan de Witt gymnasium from 1992 to 1998, with a focus on General Studies.
