Alaa Othman

Alaa Othman possesses a diverse background in accounting, medical interpretation, and education. Currently serving as a Bookkeeper and Accounting Assistant at K'zoo in the Mitten since August 2021, responsibilities include entering retail and sales data into QuickBooks and preparing payroll data for tax payments. Concurrently, as a Medical Interpreter for Voices For Health, Alaa facilitates communication between Arabic and English speakers in medical contexts. Prior experience includes an Income Tax Assistance Internship at Kalamazoo County Tax Counseling Initiative, where support was provided to low-income households with tax filing, and a volunteer teaching role at Banat Al-Ezariya School.
