Dan Packer

Dan Packer currently serves as Plant and Fuel Manager at VolkerFitzpatrick Ltd, overseeing mechanical and electrical maintenance for the construction of the largest viaduct in the UK with the Bouygues TP “Launching Girder.” Previously, Dan held roles at Balfour Beatty plc, including Section Foreman on the M4 Smart Motorway Project, where important experience in earthworks and drainage was gained, as well as Plant Manager and Logistics Apprentice, managing heavy machinery logistics and fleet operations. Dan's early career included a position as a Retail Assistant at AllSaints and project management work experience with Mace at Heathrow Airport, which provided insights into project management dynamics. Dan is currently pursuing a degree in Electro Mechanical Engineering at the University of Nottingham, expected to complete in June 2028, following education at Holyport College.
