Bahram Navroz Vakil

Mr. Bahram Navroz Vakil has been on the board of Voltas Limited as an Independent Director since 2014.

He is one of the founding Partners of AZB and Partners. He is amongst India’s foremost restructuring, infrastructure and project finance attorneys and has been acknowledged as a leading project finance lawyer by most international publications for decades.

He is on the board of various companies including Trent Ltd, Axis Capital Limited, Cashpor Micro Credit and Grameen Capital India Private Limited. He possesses an LLM degree from the Columbia University and is a member of the New York State Bar.

He has been on several government constituted committees including the Viswanathan Committee on Bankruptcy law reform and played a key role in drafting the Bankruptcy code and its recently proposed amendments.
