Álvar G. Porcar is an experienced professional with a diverse background in management, operations, and strategy across various industries. Currently, Álvar holds multiple roles, including "Muchos Cs" at Voltereta and board member positions at Begin Restaurante and Dreamland Office. Álvar is a partner at Gate 93 Ventures and co-founder of Salted. Previously, Álvar served as the Regional Director East and Head of Q-Commerce for Spain and Iberia at Glovo, where significant advancements in darkstore operations were achieved. Álvar's tenure at ALDI Nord included being the National Category Manager & Purchasing Director, overseeing diverse product categories and revamping store layouts that set new standards for the group. Álvar has a strong academic foundation with an MSc in Industrial Engineering and an MBA in Business Administration and Economics from Universidad Europea, supplemented by studies at UC Irvine.
