Alessandro Molina

Alessandro Molina has a diverse work experience in the technology and finance industries. Alessandro is currently working as an Investment Fund Partner at IH1. Prior to this, they held various roles at Voltron Data, including Senior Director of Open Source Engineering and Director of Voltron Data Labs. Alessandro was also a Shareholder and Technical Advisor at Mamazen. Alessandro has experience as the CrunchDB Development Lead at Crunch.io and Co-Author and Maintainer at TurboGears.org. Alessandro co-founded AXANT and served as a Co-Founder & Partner and later as a Co-Founder & CTO. Alessandro has also authored two books for Packt and served as a Technical member of the Advisory Board at Oval Money. Alessandro has worked as a Technical Advisor and Interim CTO at Movieday. Alessandro has a strong background in data engineering and was responsible for organizing and teaching the Big Data Course Coding and Development Track as well as lessons on Distributed Storages and Parallel Computing at BigDive.eu.

Alessandro Molina attended the University of Torino from 2004 to 2010. Alessandro did not earn any specific degree or field of study during their time there. Prior to that, Alessandro studied at the University of Piemonte Orientale from 2001 to 2004. In addition to their academic background, Alessandro obtained certifications such as the MongoDB Certified DBA Associate Exam from MongoDB, Inc. in October 2015, and the Certified ScrumMaster certification from the Scrum Alliance in April 2008.
