Tom Drabas has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Tom currently works at Voltron Data as a Field Engineer and has been in this position since January 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Voltron Data as Developer Relations from May 2021 to January 2022.

Before joining Voltron Data, Tom worked at BlazingSQL as a Principal Data Scientist from October 2020 to May 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Microsoft for a considerable duration. Tom Drabas has a strong education history with multiple degrees and certifications. Tom began their academic journey by completing a Bachelor of Business Administration degree at Wyższa Szkoła Biznesu - National Louis University w Nowym Sączu from 2000 to 2003. Tom continued their studies at the same institution and obtained a Master of Arts degree in Strategy Management from 2003 to 2006.

Tom then pursued a higher level of education and attended the University of New South Wales (UNSW) from 2007 to 2018, where they earned a PhD in Operations Research. During their time at UNSW, they conducted extensive research in the field of Operations Research.

In addition to their degrees, Tom has obtained several certifications. Tom completed the SAS Enterprise Guide 2: Advanced Tasks and Querying certification in November 2012, offered by SAS. Tom also obtained certifications in language proficiency, including the IELTS (International English Language Testing System) with an overall score of 8/9 and the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) with a score of 110/120.
