Ruben Dorantes M.ed

Ruben Dorantes, M.Ed is currently serving as the Project Director for Upward Bound and Project Coordinator for Talent Search at Volunteers of America Los Angeles. In addition, Ruben previously worked as a Community Organizer at La Puente Together, a Counseling Intern at Monrovia Unified School District and Nogales High School, and as a Substitute Teacher at West Covina Unified School District and Riverside Unified School District. Ruben also served as a Humanities Peer Mentor at UC Irvine. Ruben holds a Master's degree in School Based Counseling from USC Rossier School of Education and a Bachelor of Arts in History from UC Irvine.
