Lauren Kidd

Lauren Kidd, MS, LRT, CTRS, is a specialized Recreational Therapist currently employed at Volunteers of America since November 2021, where responsibilities include developing and supervising recreational programs for individuals with disabilities, collaborating with community organizations, and managing departmental budgets. Prior experiences include serving as a Recreational Therapist at Catawba Hospital, where assessment and therapeutic group planning for geriatric patients were key duties, and as a Graduate Preceptorship Lead Facilitator at Clemson University, overseeing the clinical training of undergraduate students. Additional roles include a Recreational Therapy Intern at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and various positions during educational pursuits at Clemson University, culminating in a Master's degree in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management.
