Sue Boyd

Sue Boyd has over 29 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Sue most recently served as the Vice President of Clinical Services at Volunteers of America starting in July 2020. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Clinical Care & Nurse Consultant at LeadingAge Minnesota from January 2019 to July 2020. From June 2010 to October 2018, they held the position of Senior Vice President of Quality Assurance at Elim Care, Inc. Before that, they worked at Extendicare as the Regional Director of Reimbursement, Regional Director of Education, and Director of Nursing from February 2003 to June 2010. Their career in healthcare began in June 1991 at Benedictine Health System, where they served as the Director of Nursing Services, ADON, and Registered Nurse until February 2003.

Sue Boyd obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in technical Illustration and Commercial Design, Marketing, and Management from Bemidji State University between 1981 and 1984. Prior to that, they attended Columbia Heights High School from 1978 to 1981, where they did not earn a degree or specify a field of study. Sue also obtained an Associate's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Anoka-Ramsey Community College from 1989 to 1991.
