Jan Plasberg

Jan Plasberg currently serves as the VP and Head of Software Engineering Chapter at Volvo Group, leading a team of approximately 1,500 engineers in transitioning to a modern software development organization focused on digital services. Previous roles include VP Engineering at Trade Republic, where Jan contributed to scaling the business across Europe and building a strong engineering team, and VP Engineering at Klarna, overseeing merchant-facing products and high transaction volumes. Jan's career also includes significant positions at Microsoft and Skype, where responsibilities ranged from engineering management to quality assurance in audio/video technology. Jan's early academic experience includes research and teaching roles at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, along with international internships in communication systems.
