Kate Thompson

Kate Thompson is a seasoned human resources professional with extensive leadership experience in diversity, inclusion, and organizational culture. Currently serving as Head of Leadership and Inclusion at Volvo Group since October 2020, Kate has also held various senior roles in other organizations, including Vice President of Human Resources and Head of Diversity, Engagement & Inclusion at Volvo Group. Previous positions include Head of HR for Sanofi Consumer Healthcare and Collins Foods Limited, where Kate managed HR for Australia's largest KFC franchisee. Kate's involvement with Parkinson's Queensland as a member of the Commercial Advisory Board highlights a commitment to strategic development for sustainable income sources. With an academic background that includes a Master's degree in Business Administration focused on Human Resource Management, Kate brings a wealth of experience in change management, leadership coaching, and workforce planning across multiple sectors.
