Mike Hatrick

Mike Hatrick is an experienced leader in intellectual property and innovation management, currently serving as Vice President IP Strategy & Portfolio at Volvo Group since January 2016. In this role, Mike leads the development and execution of the annual Volvo Group IP Plan, aligning it with strategic business objectives and managing the IP portfolio to maximize value. Previously, Mike held significant positions at organizations such as Climate-KIC Nordic, Swisslog, and Bombardier Aerospace, where contributions included innovation management, strategy development, and project leadership across various engineering and technology domains. Mike holds a BEng in Aeronautical Engineering from Queen's University Belfast and is pursuing further studies in Design and Innovation at The Open University.
