Jiong Sun

Jiong Sun is a seasoned data scientist currently serving as a Staff Data Scientist at Volvo Cars since June 2021, after holding the position of Senior Data Scientist at Volvo Group from August 2019 to June 2021. Jiong's career began as a Project Manager at AMT in 2006, followed by a role as an Experienced Researcher at Ericsson until 2014. From 2014 to 2016, Jiong founded StoryXYZ and later transitioned to academia as an Assistant Professor at the University of Skövde, where service extended from April 2016 to July 2019. Jiong Sun holds a Ph.D. in Signal Processing from Umeå University, an M.Sc. in Engineering from Linköping University, and a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications.
