Lőrinc Sonnevend is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in engineering management and software development. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Volvo Cars since April 2022, Lőrinc oversees multiple engineering teams in the development of the online ordering system, driving project completion within an agile environment. Prior roles include Engineering Manager at Volvo Cars, where Lőrinc significantly scaled the engineering team and improved operational efficiency, and Lead Backend Developer at Fortum, leading the development of a software platform for Nordic mFRR optimization. Lőrinc's career spans multiple leadership and technical roles in companies such as Webforce Design Studio, Avinode Group, and BetVictor, with a strong background in Java-based technologies and software engineering principles.
