Nicholas Mucci

Nicholas Mucci is a highly experienced technical leader in the automotive industry, currently serving as a Senior Technical Leader at Volvo Cars since March 2018. In this role, Nicholas leads advanced engineering research for vehicle platform computing systems, collaborates with Chalmers University AI Research Center, and mentors junior engineers. Prior positions include Technical Expert and Senior Engineer at Volvo Cars, where Nicholas developed architecture for Electrical Propulsion, migrated CI build clusters, and engaged in harmonizing software practices. Nicholas also held roles at Apple, managing continuous integration lab automation, and Garmin International, providing software engineering tools support. Earlier experience includes system administration at DARcorporation and research assistance at NASA. Nicholas holds a degree from The University of Kansas.
