Vijay Ganesh Thandavarayan

Vijay Ganesh Thandavarayan is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in app development and project management, currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer Team Lead at Volvo Cars since September 2017. In this role, Vijay has collaborated across teams to drive electrification initiatives for various car models, led architectural discussions, and contributed to the development of the Volvo Cars iOS app and Android functionalities. Prior experience includes positions at Microsoft where Vijay developed Skype for Business and consumer iOS applications and served as a certified Scrum master. Additional roles include quality assurance engineering at Symantec and Cognizant Technology Solutions, where Vijay specialized in mobile application testing and automation. Vijay holds a Master’s degree in IT Project Management from Stockholm University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering from SSN College of Engineering.
