Niranjan Kunwar

Niranjan Kunwar has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of information security and network engineering. Niranjan currently holds the position of Senior Director, Information Security Architecture at Vontier, where they are responsible for building a Product Security Center of Excellence and developing security architecture patterns. Prior to this, Niranjan worked at Invesco UK as the Global Head of Application and Infrastructure Assurance, overseeing security architecture, engineering, and vulnerability testing functions. Niranjan has also worked at McAfee as a Principal Consultant/Architect, leading client engagements and interacting with senior technology and security stakeholders. Niranjan has a strong background in network security, having served as a Senior Network Security Engineer at Polycom and a Technical Operations Engineer at Mimecast, where they were responsible for network operations and infrastructure maintenance. Niranjan also has experience in designing and implementing secure network solutions as a Security Engineer at Reliance Globalcom. In addition, Niranjan has held system infrastructure management roles at ShipServ, Covestor, and Internet Solutions Limited. Niranjan began their career as a Support Engineer at Himalayan Computers, Nepal, where they provided technical support and maintained network connections. Niranjan Kunwar pursued an Executive MBA from the Quantic School of Business and Technology in 2021-2022. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Science in Information Technology, specializing in Computer Science, from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University from 2002 to 2005. Niranjan also holds a Post Graduate Diploma majoring in Informatics & Computer Engineering from the Institute of Qualification Improvement TELECOM, Russia, which they obtained between 1996 and 1998. Additionally, they obtained their Engineer degree in Radio Communications and Radio Broadcasting from St. Petersburg State University of Telecommunications, Russia, during 1993-1998. Niranjan has further acquired several certifications, including AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA) from Amazon in 2018 and CCNA Security from Cisco in 2010.
