David Puente

David Puente is currently an insurance consultant at VOOM Insurance. David previously worked as an inside sales agent/licensed insurance agent at Root Inc. from August 2021 to January 2022. There, they were responsible for onboarding new insurance customers and educating them on the Root values. Prior to that, Puente worked as a licensed insurance agent at Porch from July 2020 to July 2021, where they prospected for new P&C insurance business with clients across the US. Puente has also worked as a New Member Acquisitions Senior Specialist at USAA from June 2014 to June 2020. In this role, they were responsible for acquiring new members and servicing their needs.

David Puente has a high school diploma in marketing/marketing management from Sidney Lanier High School. David also has certification from the Texas Department of Insurance in General Lines Life, Health, Accident and HMO, and General Lines P&C Agent.
