John Beirne

John Beirne is an experienced aviation professional with a diverse background in inspection, engineering, and quality management. Currently serving as a Borescope Inspector and Powerplant Engineer at Vortex Aviation since September 2022, John has previously held roles at Aero Inspection as a Borescope Inspector and Certifying Staff from January 2019 to September 2022. John’s career includes significant positions at AMMROC from August 2012 to September 2018, where responsibilities included Senior Quality Engineer and Platform Manager. Additionally, John has experience with AMMROC in collaboration with Sikorsky and Lockheed Martin, and served in the Irish Air Corps as an Aircraft Inspector and Technical Instructor from 1989 to 2012. John also worked as an Airline Captain and Continuing Airworthiness Maintenance Manager at Wrenair between 2007 and 2009.
