Veronica Viña

Veronica Viña has an extensive work experience in various roles within the food industry. Veronica is currently serving as the Sr Director of Supply Chain and Strategic Customer Development at Vosges Haut-Chocolat, where they lead the Supply Chain team and ensures efficient procurement, production planning, and inventory management. Additionally, they manage private label opportunities and maintains relationships with clients. Veronica also oversees the Quality Department and implements food safety initiatives.

Prior to this, Veronica worked as the Director of Quality/Wild Ophelia and Private Label Sales at Vosges Haut-Chocolat, where they handled quality assurance and sales responsibilities.

Before joining Vosges Haut-Chocolat, Veronica worked as a Food Safety and Quality Consultant at Horizon Quality, LLC. Veronica provided guidance and assistance in meeting certification and regulatory goals, as well as managing quality systems.

Veronica also has experience working at creative werks, llc, where they held the positions of Director of Quality and Sr Manager of Quality and Compliance. Veronica was responsible for ensuring quality standards and compliance within the company.

Veronica further worked at Carlson Labs as the Quality Director, where they prepared the company for FDA compliance and oversaw a team responsible for quality and technical services. Veronica also held positions as MQA Manager and MQA Supervisor at Carlson Labs.

Veronica began their career as a Quality Assurance Specialist at Northfield and later worked as a Lab Supervisor/Chemist at Avon.

Veronica Viña obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from the University of Illinois Chicago. In addition to their degree, they have also obtained several certifications. Veronica became HACCP Certified through Billy G. Nolen & Associates in September 2014, and then became a SQF Practitioner through the SQF Institute in October 2014. In April 2016, Veronica obtained their PCQI certification from the Food Safety Preventive Controls Alliance (FSPCA) and became an SQF Internal Auditor through FSSC 22000 in September of the same year. Veronica'smost recent certification is a Mini-MBA from the Quinlan School of Business, Loyola University Chicago, which they obtained in November 2022.
