Vladimir Díaz Charris

Vladimir Díaz Charris is a Senior Automation Project Engineer at VOSTA LMG since May 2023, with a robust background in engineering and research. Previously, at COTECMAR from March 2011 to January 2022, Vladimir served as a technical project manager, overseeing the development of an acoustic signature classification system and a tactical data link system for the Colombian Navy. As a Design Engineer, Vladimir developed simulation models for ship alternatives and established design requirements for future frigates. Earlier experience includes a role as a researcher in naval engineering at Escuela Naval 'Almirante Padilla,' focusing on unmanned vehicles and associated R&D projects. Educational qualifications comprise a Mechatronic Engineering degree from Universidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga and a Master of Science in Electronic Engineering from Universidad del Cauca.
