Alexander Meadow

Alexander Meadow has extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. Alexander is currently working at Vote.org as the Senior Director of Partnerships since September 2021, after serving as a Senior Advisor from June 2020 to September 2021. Prior to that, Alexander worked as an Independent Consultant for various campaigns and organizations starting in November 2019.

Alexander also has experience at the Obama Foundation as a Senior Associate, MBK Network and Partnerships from October 2017 to November 2019. In this role, they led partnerships with mayors, officials, community partners, and corporate and philanthropic institutions. Alexander also conducted internal workshops and trainings for the Obama Foundation.

Before joining the Obama Foundation, Alexander worked as the Deputy Director at My Brother's Keeper Alliance from September 2015 to November 2019.

Alexander began their career as an Elementary School Teacher at Uncommon Schools from August 2012 to July 2014. Alexander taught kindergarten and second grade, focusing on preparing students for college-level work through rigorous instruction and data analysis.

Earlier, Alexander was a Corps Member at Teach For America from June 2012 to July 2014.

In 2014, they completed the Coro New York Leadership Center's Public Affairs Fellowship, where they gained experience in leadership, power relationships, organizational analysis, and governance across different sectors.

Alexander Meadow completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science and Government from Wesleyan University from 2008 to 2012. Following this, they pursued a Master's Degree in Elementary Education and Teaching at Relay Graduate School of Education from 2012 to 2014. Additionally, Alexander holds a New York Teaching Certification from the New York State Education Department, although the specific dates of obtaining this certification are not provided.
