Deputy Director Of Data Standards And Governance at The Voter Participation Center

Niq T. is an experienced data management and civic technology professional currently serving as the Deputy Director of Data Standards and Governance at The Voter Participation Center since April 2024. Previously worked as a Voter Data Consultant for California Black Power Network, managing integrated voter engagement databases, and as a Civic Tech Developer at Connecticut Data Collaborative, where Niq developed numerous public data visualization tools and improved data quality. Earlier roles include software engineering positions at DevMountain and Power California, where Niq led statewide campaigns and developed data integration strategies. Data management expertise was also demonstrated during roles with artworxLA and Community Coalition. Niq holds a degree in Urban Studies, Development and Planning from Loyola Marymount University and has completed a Software Engineering program at Devmountain.
