William Andrew

William Andrew is an engineer at Vow. William previously worked as a Senior Electrical Engineer at Zoox from January 2019 to May 2022. Before that, they were an Electrical Engineer at Baraja, where they developed high sensitivity, high speed LIDAR frontend circuits for best-in-class performance and rapidly iterated electronic design to bring highly complex product to market in a matter of months. William Andrew also has experience as a Teaching Assistant, having worked at UNSW from January 2014 to December 2017. In this role, they were ELEC2141 2nd year Digital Circuit Design (2014), ELEC2117 2nd year Embedded Systems (2015-2016) head TA, casual lecturer, and ELEC3106 3rd year Electronics (2015-2017) head TA. Additionally, they were the ELEC4602 4th year Microelectronic Design (2017) TA. Lastly, William Andrew has experience as a Self Employed Contractor, working from January 2009 to December 2017. In this role, they did contract electronics and firmware design for clients in US and UK, primarily power electronics design (up to 5 kW) including battery chargers, inverters, DC motor controllers, battery monitors and other automotive products.
