Debbie Srao

Debbie Srao has a solid work experience spanning over 18 years. Debbie most recently worked at VoxSmart as a Project Manager starting in September 2019. Prior to that, they held the role of Senior Project Manager at Fonetic from February 2019 to September 2019.

Debbie has also had a long career at Citigroup, where they held several roles. From December 2009 to December 2018, they served as a Senior Vice President/Senior Programme Director/EMEA Compliance Technology Systems. In this position, they successfully implemented the APAMA Trade Surveillance application and worked on various projects related to compliance technology systems.

From February 2009 to December 2009, Debbie was a Vice President/Programme Manager/EMEA Compliance Technology Core Systems, where they managed the Joint Equities Business and Compliance CAP for Trade Surveillance project. Debbie was responsible for various tasks, such as sourcing hardware, obtaining funding, working with architecture and vendor management, and implementing market abuse scenarios.

In their earlier roles at Citigroup, Debbie served as an Associate Vice-President - Senior Business Analyst/Programme Manager from November 2005 to December 2009. Debbie coordinated the MiFID programme and managed teams, consultants, and legal counsel. Debbie also completed a gap analysis and compiled a budget request. Additionally, they took on the failing MiFID Transaction Reporting and TRAX2 upgrade project.

Prior to their time at Citigroup, Debbie worked at Adecco, where they held the role of Analyst/Technical Author/Departmental Administrative Assistant from May 2001 to October 2003.

Debbie Srao obtained their BA Hons degree in Religious Studies from Lancaster University, where they attended from 1996 to 1999.
