Dan Ruether

Dan Ruether, MBA, has a diverse work experience in the financial industry spanning over 15 years. Currently, they serve as a Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Voya Investment Management since September 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as a Principal and Fixed Income Portfolio Strategist at Allianz Life from August 2020 to August 2022.

From June 2017 to March 2019, Dan worked as a Portfolio Manager in Treasury Capital Markets at Charles Schwab. Dan gained further experience at Columbia Threadneedle Investments, US, where they held multiple roles. From November 2014 to May 2017, they served as a Structured Products Trader and before that was a Fixed Income Portfolio Analyst from an undisclosed start date in 2012 to October 2014.

At Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc., Dan held the positions of Business Analyst II from July 2011 to September 2012 and Accountant from February 2010 to July 2011.

Beginning their career at Premier Banks, Dan worked as a Loan Officer from May 2009 to February 2010. Before that, they held the position of Lead Credit Analyst from May 2008 to May 2009 and began their professional journey as a Management Trainee from June 2007 to May 2008.

Dan Ruether received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Financial Management from the University of St. Thomas - Department of Economics in 2008. Dan then went on to pursue a Masters in Business Administration with a specialization in Investments and Finance at the University of St. Thomas - Opus College of Business, which they completed in 2013.
