David Kocourek

David Kocourek, CFA, has a comprehensive and diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. David currently holds the position of Senior Vice President of Portfolio Analytics and Operations at Voya Investment Management, a role they began in November 2022.

Prior to their current position, David worked at Allstate for an impressive 25 years, starting in May 1997. During their time at Allstate, they served as the Senior Portfolio Manager and was responsible for overseeing the company's portfolio of commercial mortgage investments. In addition, they managed a team of portfolio managers, investment analysts, and loan servicing personnel. David also developed and managed mortgage banking relationships for sourcing origination activities. Their tenure at Allstate ended in November 2022.

Before joining Allstate, David worked at the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation (Freddie Mac) from August 1994 to May 1997. David started as a Senior Mortgage Analyst and quickly climbed the ranks to become a Senior Underwriter. In this role, they originated multifamily commercial mortgage investments for Freddie Mac's Chicago regional office. Their outstanding performance earned him the top-ranking position among six underwriters and contributed to 30% of the region's total output in 1995 and 1996.

Prior to their role at Freddie Mac, David worked as an Assistant Vice President at Bremer Bank from February 1992 to August 1994.

David Kocourek, CFA holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from St. Cloud State University, which they earned from 1981 to 1985. Additionally, they are a Chartered Financial Analyst, having obtained this certification from the CFA Institute.
