As the President and Chief Executive Officer, Veronica (Ronnie) Todaro is the leader of the organization and is ultimately responsible for all aspects of the overall path and direction of the firm in collaboration with other leaders and the team. She provides strategic counsel to key clients as well as thought leadership in specific areas, including patient engagement.
Prior to joining VOZ, Ronnie has served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for the Parkinson’s Foundation since 2016 where she led the development and execution of strategy and day-to-day operations, ensuring the alignment of the organization’s objectives with the needs and priorities of people living with Parkinson’s. Prior to her role as EVP, COO, Ronnie held the role of Vice President of National Programs at the Foundation, where she created and drove patient engagement initiatives for more than a decade.
Ronnie is a pioneer and leader in field of patient engagement and advocacy within the Parkinson’s and broader disease community and has been an invited speaker at national and international conferences, including those hosted by the NIH, U.S. Food and Drug Administration, Society for Clinical Trials and the World Parkinson Congress. She is a founding member of Patient Focused Medicines Development (PFMD), serving on the Board and Executive Committee, and has served as Chair of the Patient Leadership Council and on the Executive Committee for the Clinical Trials Transformation Initiative (CTTI); as a member of the Patient Engagement Advisory Panel for the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI); and on the Advisory Committee of North America and the Program Committee for the Global Annual Meeting of the Drug Information Association.
Ronnie earned her MA in Public Health in Planning and Administration from the University of Michigan and her BA in Public Policy at Cornell University. She is based in the Metropolitan New York area.
