Lucian Hule

Lucian Hule is currently a Systems Engineer at VPLS. Prior to this, they worked as a Network Engineer at Second Spectrum, Inc. from February 2019 to April 2020. There, they were responsible for designing and implementing secure VPN connections to all remote servers across the US, Canada & UK, as well as a centralized VPN connection to AWS infrastructure. Lucian also automated remote server installation by building custom install scripts based on each location's hardware configuration. In addition, they provided support for encoders installation, both remotely and onsite, and assisted developers with network connectivity issues. Lucian also researched and implemented new equipment in an effort to save costs.

From July 2017 to November 2018, Lucian worked as a DevOps Engineer at Zadara Storage. Prior to that, they worked as a Sr Systems Engineer at Bill.com from September 2015 to June 2017. Before that, they were a Virtualization Data Center Systems Administrator at Citrix from October 2014 to September 2015. Their first job out of college was as a Linux Engineer at Yahoo from July 2012 to September 2013.

Lucian Hule completed a Bachelor of Science in Automatic Control and Applied Informatics from Politehnica University Timisoara in Romania. Lucian also attended high school at Telecommunications and Transports scholar group in Oradea, Romania. Additionally, they have attended Universitatea din Oradea and Universitatea din Oradea.

Lucian Hule reports to Ed Buck, VP, Technology & Service Delivery. Lucian Hule works with Tom Arakelian - Senior Systems Engineer, Vince Tran - Senior Infrastructure Engineer, and Ice Prungmuang - Linux Systems Engineer.
