Melissa Heslip has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Melissa began their career as a Store Manager and District Visual Manager for The Limited from 1994 to 1999. Following that, they worked as an Area Manager and Store Manager for BCBG Max Azria and Herve Leger flagship locations in New York City, achieving the highest ADS, UPT, and shrink results in the company from 2002 to 2004. Melissa then joined LeSportsac as a Retail Buyer, where they determined capacity, class, and product assortment strategies to optimize store and ecommerce productivity. From 2008 to 2014, Melissa served as the US Retail Operations and HR Manager for Comptoir des Cotonniers, successfully launching the French contemporary brand in the US and opening 8 retail and department stores. Melissa then moved on to become the Director of Retail & eCommerce for Haute Hippie, managing the retail and ecommerce division for the contemporary fashion brand. In 2014, Melissa joined Roller Rabbit as a Retail Director, overseeing the retail division across 15 locations in the US and creating a high-performance selling culture. Finally, in 2018, they became the Director of Event Sales & Operations/General Manager at VR World NYC, where they are responsible for the day-to-day operations of the largest virtual reality entertainment club in North America, including event sales, guest experience, VR content and technology, financial performance, and marketing.

Melissa Heslip attended LIM College, where they pursued a field of study in Fashion Merchandising. Melissa graduated from the college in 1998.
