Richard Zecca

Vice President/general Manager SET at VSC Fire & Security

Richard Zecca has over 30 years of experience in the fire suppression systems industry. Richard started their career as President/Owner of R&R Fire Fire Protection in 1985. In 1992, they became Vice President/General Manager at Worsham Sprinkler, where they oversaw the Tidewater Virginia office and managed a large project for the company's corporate office in the Mid-Atlantic Region. In 1999, Zecca joined Fire and Life Safety America as General Manager. Richard then moved on to VSC Fire & Security Inc. in 2005, where they currently serve as Vice President/General Manager of the SET division in the Northern Virginia office. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing the design, installation, service, inspections of fire suppression systems, as well as fire alarm and security systems.

Richard Zecca attended Gannon University from 1974 to 1977, where they obtained a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business Administration and Management, with a focus on General Business. Prior to that, they attended Southwood College from 1968 to 1970 and obtained an Associate's degree in Business/Commerce, with a general focus. In addition to their educational background, in September 1989, Richard Zecca obtained certifications from the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies. These certifications include NICET Level IV in Automatic Sprinkler System Layout and Level II in Special Hazard System Layout.
