Ruth Henry

Ruth Henry is a seasoned philanthropic professional with extensive experience in major gifts and alumni relations across various institutions. Currently serving as a Senior Philanthropic Advisor at The Vermont Community Foundation since March 2020, Ruth collaborates with diverse clients to establish charitable funds and enhance grantmaking strategies. Prior roles include Director of Major Gifts at the UVM Foundation, Executive Director of Member Services and Alumni House Campaign, and Director of Alumni Relations at the University of Vermont, among others. Ruth's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Vermont, a Master’s degree from Indiana University Bloomington, and ongoing studies at The American College of Financial Services, where Ruth is pursuing a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy designation.
