Alexander Dunbar

Principal Engineer at Vulcan Forms

Alexander Dunbar began their work experience in 2016 as a Post-Doctoral Scholar at The Pennsylvania State University Applied Research Laboratory. Alexander held this role until February 2018. In 2018, Alexander joined VulcanForms Inc. as a Senior Sensing and Controls Engineer. Alexander worked in this role for three years until May 2021 when they transitioned to the role of Technical Lead - Process Monitoring. In January 2023, Alexander assumed the position of Principal Engineer at VulcanForms Inc. and continues to work in this role.

Alexander Dunbar has an extensive education history in the field of Mechanical Engineering. Alexander obtained their Bachelor's degree from Bucknell University in 2011. After that, they pursued a Master's degree at Penn State University and completed it in 2015. Following their Master's degree, they continued their studies at Penn State University, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechanical Engineering in 2016.

In addition to their academic achievements, Alexander Dunbar also received an Additive Manufacturing Safety Certificate from ASTM International in September 2020.
