Sara Toncinic

Sara Toncinic is an experienced education specialist currently working at VuMedi since April 2020, where previous roles included education coordinator. Prior experience includes a research intern position at PANAXEA, focusing on stakeholder engagement and developing cost-effectiveness tools for Roche Diagnostics in multiple countries. Sara also contributed to a systematic review during a master's thesis project at the Athena Research and Education Institute, examining the involvement of marginalized patients in health research. Earlier research internships at AMC involved qualitative studies on palliative care for elderly patients with diverse backgrounds. Sara has a background in physiotherapy, having worked as a physiotherapist at the Red Cross and Health Spa Istarske Toplice. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Management, Policy Analysis, and Entrepreneurship in Health and Life Sciences from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Applied Health Sciences in Zagreb.
