Bernd Gutknecht

Bernd Gutknecht is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in mechanical development and product engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Product Engineer at Vyaire Medical since January 2020, Bernd previously held roles at Inkdustry GmbH from April 2005 to January 2020 as a CAD-Konstrukteur, where responsibilities included developing CIJ and DOD marking systems as well as custom adaptation solutions and production aids. Prior experience includes working as a Konstrukteur Sonderprojekte at KBA-Metronic AG from February 1991 to March 2005, focusing on the design of handling systems and product-specific enclosures. Bernd began an apprenticeship as a Feinmechaniker at Erich Jaeger GmbH & Co. KG, completing training in 1991 and later attaining the Meister degree in Feinmechanik from Handwerkskammer Unterfranken between 1993 and 1997.
