Kannan Govindaswamy

Kannan Govindaswamy has extensive work experience, starting from 1994 as a Manufacturing Support Engineer at Rapid Design Services. Kannan then worked as a Software Development Lead at TMP Worldwide in 2000. From 2001 to 2005, they were a Software Development Manager at Fios, Inc. and then moved on to become a Project Manager at Adea Solutions in 2005. In 2006, they joined McAfee Software (India) Pvt Ltd as a Development Manager, and later became a Sr. Software Development Manager from 2008 to 2011. At McAfee, they held various roles including Sr. Engineering Manager, Director Consumer Partner Engineering, and Director Engineering from 2011 to 2022. Currently, they are serving as the Vice President - Engineering at Vymo since 2022.

Kannan Govindaswamy obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Dayananda Sagar College Of Engineering, Bangalore, from 1986 to 1990. Kannan then pursued a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Toledo, from 1992 to 1994. Additionally, they acquired an EGMP (Executive General Management Programme) from Indian Institute of Management Bangalore in the year 2007-2008.
