Prashant Deshpande

Prashant Deshpande has over 30 years of work experience in various leadership roles. Prashant most recently served as the Executive Vice President at Vyom Labs since 2014. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior VP and General Manager at Emptoris, an IBM company from 2011 to 2014. Prashant also worked at BMC Software as the Senior Director and Head of Global Service Delivery from 2009 to 2011, and as the Senior Director and Head of Information Technology from 2006 to 2008. In addition, they worked at Symantec as the Senior Director and Head of IS&T, and at Patni Computer Systems as the General Manager and Head of Infrastructure Services business unit. Prashant started their career at Citicorp as the Vice President of Capital Markets Technology.

Prashant Deshpande pursued their education in a chronological manner. Prashant first attended the University of Mumbai from 1974 to 1978, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering (BChem). Following that, from 1978 to 1980, they enrolled at Columbia Engineering, where they obtained a Master's degree (M.S) in Engineering.
