Shahrzade Ehya has over 18 years of work experience in creative, media, and research roles. Shahrzade began their career in 2002 as an Interim Assistant Curator and Curatorial Intern for the Berkeley Art Museum's MATRIX Program for Contemporary Art. In 2003, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies. From 2006 to 2011, they were a Contributing Writer and Cables & Desk Intern at the Buenos Aires Herald. From 2011 to 2012, they were a Museum Guide at the Berkeley Art Museum. From 2012 to 2013, they were a Creative Content Producer and Arts + Advertising + Media at www.shahrzade-ehya.com. During this time, their photography was featured on Vogue.com. From 2013 to 2017, they were a Photography Producer at Musilek, Inc. During this time, they worked with clients such as Verizon Wireless, Xtandi, Bare Escentuals, Delta Faucet, and Wired Magazine. In 2017, they were a Freelance Proofreader/Translator at Babbel. From 2018 to present, they have held multiple roles at Vyond, including Sr. Manager, Creative & Brand, Manager, Video & Design, Video Producer, and Jr. Video Producer. In their current role, they lead creative projects and campaigns from ideation to production and delivery, ensuring all elements conform to the Vyond brand and creative vision. Shahrzade also oversees 500+ creative marketing assets annually and uses PPC ad performance metrics to continuously iterate and improve ad creative and performance.
Shahrzade Ehya holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in History of Art from the University of California, Berkeley, a Master of Arts (M.A.) in History of Art from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in History of Art and Minor in Italian Studies from the University of California, Berkeley. Shahrzade also participated in a Junior Year Abroad at Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from IDEO for Leading for Creativity in April 2021, Lynda.com for Learn Salesforce: The Basics in February 2017, and Lynda.com for Illustrator CC for Web Design: Wireframing in March 2016.
