Members of the board have worked for companies such as Tetra Tech, AK Steel Corporation, and Alcoa. They have also retired from positions such as commanding officer in the US Navy. In terms of education, the board of directors at VyStar Credit Union have degrees from institutions such as the University of Florida, the University of Arkansas, and the U.S. Naval Academy.
