Sebastian Schaefer

Sebastian Schaefer currently serves as Vice President of Regular Manufacturing for EMEA and AP at W. R. Grace & Co. since July 2019, previously holding the role of Vice President for ISC EMEA. From January 2015 to June 2019, Sebastian was the CEO of M+C Schiffer GmbH. Prior experience includes serving as a Member of the Executive Board and CEO at LTS Lohmann Therapie Systeme AG from 2007 to December 2014, where promotion to CEO followed two years as Senior Vice President of Operations. Sebastian also held the position of Managing Director at Cabot Nanogel GmbH from 2001 to 2007, after being promoted from Plant Manager. Earlier roles include Plant Engineering Manager at Clariant from 1998 to 2001 and Process Engineer at Hoechst AG from 1994 to 1997. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Process Engineering from Universitaet Hannover, Germany, and further studies at Harvard Business School from 2011 to 2012.
