Group President, Integrated Communications at W2O Group

Emily Poe brings nearly two decades of healthcare and scientific communications to the W2O Group. Her expertise spans both the nation and the globe, as she works to implement corporate and product communications that help clients achieve their business objectives. In her role, she teams with senior leaders on strategy creation and maintaining operational excellence across W2O’s healthcare clients.

Committed to the highest quality of client service, her superior understanding and skill has allowed her to work with clients such as Pfizer, Merck, Bayer, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Janssen, EMD Serono, Boston Scientific, Onyx Pharmaceuticals (now a part of Amgen Inc.), and Myriad Genetics. She has also assisted platform companies such as Sony Medical Systems, Applied Biosystems, and Sequenom, Inc., and third-party organizations such as the National Headache Foundation.

Prior to her position at W2O Group, Emily was the Executive Vice President for the Healthcare practice at Cohn & Wolfe, where she oversaw communications for global and US franchises as well as other scientifically focused programming. She has also held leadership positions at Euro RSCG Life PR and Noonan Russo Communications.

Emily began her career as an Assistant Editor at Nature Publishing Group. She has a degree in biological sciences from Cornell University, where she published a paper on genetic implications of insect neurobehavior in the journal Nature.
