Maximilian Haas-Heger

Maximilian Haas-Heger has a diverse work experience. Maximilian is currently working as a Senior Software Developer at the company Waabi. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Nuro from 2021 to 2023. Maximilian also worked as a Research Assistant at the Robotic Manipulation and Mobility Laboratory from 2015 to 2020. Additionally, they gained experience as a Software Engineer Intern at Nuro in 2020. Before that, they worked as a Researcher at the Aerial Robotics Laboratory from 2014 to 2015, where they focused on various aspects of quadrotor control and autonomous construction. Maximilian Haas-Heger completed their high school education at St Leonards School in St Andrews, Scotland from 2008 to 2011. Maximilian then pursued a Master's Degree in Aeronautical Engineering at Imperial College London, graduating in 2015. Following their Master's, Haas-Heger furthered their education by pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mechanical Engineering at Columbia University. Maximilian successfully completed their Ph.D. program in 2020.
