Cherie Reardon

Cherie Reardon, SPHR, has a significant amount of work experience in human resources and talent development. Cherie has worked for various companies like Wabtec Corporation, GE Transportation, GE, Automation & Controls from GE, GE Capital, Verizon, GTE - Corporate, and GTE-Corporate.

Cherie'smost recent position was as the Vice President of Human Resources for Equipment & International at Wabtec Corporation, starting in April 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President of Human Resources for Engineering/Technology & Chief Technology Officer at the same company, starting in February 2019.

At GE Transportation, a Wabtec company, Cherie held roles as the Executive HR Business Partner for the Equipment Business & Engineering, starting in February 2017, and as the Executive HR Business Partner for Technology, starting in May 2013.

During their time at GE, Cherie worked as the Corporate Global HR Business Partner for Legal & Organizational Talent Development, starting in August 2009. Cherie also served as the Global HR Business Partner for Software & Controls at Automation & Controls from GE, from December 2007 to July 2009, and as the Human Resources Manager for Commercial & Finance, from July 2006 to December 2007.

Before joining GE, Cherie worked as the Site Human Resources Manager at GE Capital, from February 2005 to June 2006, and as the Manager of Human Resources at Verizon, from December 2000 to January 2005. Cherie also held the role of Manager of Labor Relations at Verizon, from April 1999 to December 2000.

Cherie began their career at GTE - Corporate as a Labor Relations Administrator, from April 1998 to April 1999, and later joined GTE-Corporate, where they participated in the HR Associate Development Program. This program allowed their to gain experience in different areas, including Sales Engineer New Recruit Program, international benefits, and regional sales and call center management.

Cherie Reardon, SPHR, has a Master's degree in Human Resources & Labor Relations (MHRLR) from Michigan State University and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Government from Providence College. Cherie attended the Crotonville Alumni in 2013 for a Management Development Course (MDC) and from 2007 to 2009 for the Experienced HR Development Program (EHRDP) & Advanced HR Development Course (AHRDC). Additionally, they hold certifications as a "Deep Smarts" Facilitator from Leonard-Barton Group, LLC (obtained in 2015), and as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from HRCI (obtained in July 2002). Furthermore, they are currently pursuing the Wabtec Executive Education Program from Wabtec Corporation.
